Light is never just light. It can make all the difference to a building, a space and, ultimately most importantly, the people who move, work or relax in it.

Licht is nooit zomaar licht. Het kan het verschil maken voor een gebouw, een ruimte en, uiteindelijk het belangrijkste, de mensen die zich erin bewegen, werken of ontspannen.

But before a great lighting plan can become reality, it needs to work technically. Down to the millimetre. And that is where you come in!

Maar voordat een goed lichtplan werkelijkheid wordt, moet het technisch kloppen. En dan gewoon tot op de millimeter. En juist daar kom jij in beeld!

As ONN continues to grow, we are looking for someone who can translate our ideas and lighting designs into accurate technical drawings and calculations. Someone who knows AutoCAD, has a sharp eye for detail and is not finished until a plan is completely right.

As a Lighting Designer, you are an essential part of our projects. You work closely with our Project Managers, translating designs and ideas into technical lighting plans that are not only well thought out and visually strong, but also work in practice.

Als Lichtontwerper ben je een superbelangrijke schakel binnen onze projecten. Je werkt nauw samen met onze projectleiders en vertaalt ontwerpen en ideeën naar technische lichtplannen die niet alleen mooi en goed bedacht zijn, maar ook daadwerkelijk uitvoerbaar zijn.

You work on several projects at the same time, ranging from offices and hotels to retail and hospitality. You create drawings in AutoCAD, develop lighting plans and calculations and make sure our Project Managers and backoffice team have all the technical information they need.

Je werkt aan verschillende projecten tegelijk: van kantoren en hotels tot retail en hospitality. Je maakt tekeningen in AutoCAD, stelt lichtplannen en berekeningen op en zorgt dat onze projectleiders en backoffice beschikken over de juiste technische informatie.

And if you see a smarter or better way to do something? We want to hear it. Your expertise and input matter. Because at ONN, it’s not about finishing a drawing as quickly as possible. We want it to be right.

What will you do? Dit ga je doen

  • Create technical drawings in AutoCAD for our lighting projects. Je maakt technische tekeningen in AutoCAD voor onze verlichtingsprojecten.
  • Develop technical lighting plans and create lighting calculations, preferably using DIALux. Je werkt lichtplannen technisch uit en maakt lichtberekeningen, bij voorkeur in DIALux.
  • Work closely with our Project Managers to align plans with the space, design and client requirements. Je werkt nauw samen met onze projectleiders en stemt plannen af op de ruimte, het ontwerp en de wensen van de klant.
  • Make sure our backoffice team has the correct technical information for quotations, orders and order confirmations. Je zorgt dat onze backoffice over de juiste technische informatie beschikt voor offertes, bestellingen en orderbevestigingen.
  • Contribute ideas for smart lighting solutions and smart lighting technology. Je denkt mee over slimme verlichtingsoplossingen en smart lighting.
  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of drawings across multiple projects. Je bewaakt de kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid van tekeningen over verschillende projecten tegelijk.
  • Keep up to date with technical developments within the lighting industry. Je blijft op de hoogte van technische ontwikkelingen binnen het vakgebied.

You are comfortable working independently, but just as easily reach out to a Project Manager when something needs to be discussed. Run into a problem while working on a drawing? You do not put it aside. You proactively look for the right solution.

Je kunt goed zelfstandig werken, maar zoekt net zo makkelijk de samenwerking op met een projectleider als je iets wilt afstemmen. Kom je tijdens het tekenen een probleem tegen? Dan leg je het niet aan de kant, maar ga je proactief op zoek naar de juiste oplossing!

  • You have experience working with AutoCAD. Heb je ervaring met AutoCAD.
  • You have an affinity with technology and lighting. Heb je affiniteit met techniek en verlichting.
  • You work accurately and have a sharp eye for detail. Werk je nauwkeurig en heb je een scherp oog voor detail.
  • You are independent, proactive and solution-oriented. Ben je zelfstandig, proactief en oplossingsgericht.
  • You can manage multiple projects without losing sight of the details. Kun je meerdere projecten tegelijk overzien zonder de details uit het oog te verliezen.
  • Technical lighting knowledge is a strong advantage. Is lichttechnische kennis een sterke pré.
  • Experience with DIALux is a strong advantage. Is ervaring met DIALux een sterke pré.
  • You have a good command of Dutch. Beheers je de Nederlandse taal goed.
