Smart lighting system Thinq

Our colleagues Tim and René visited Jacs. Koopman for an in-depth training of Interlight Thinq. This smart lighting system gives you complete control over your lighting and builds an independent network infrastructure on top of it. This means data can be transferred through the network, allowing you to track valuable items like lab carts, calibrate the lighting in groups and daylight compensation.

We implemented this system in multiple projects, including Hubrecht Institute, Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and Netherlands Institute of Ecology.

New VR museum in Amsterdam, ENTR

ONN lighting supplied the complete lighting for ENTR, a new VR museum that opened in Amsterdam in May 2026. The experience takes visitors back to 17th century Amsterdam, allowing them to step into the daily life of a real Amsterdammer.

For this project, our lighting planner designed a lighting plan for the complete building. Our project managers made multiple deliveries within dedicated timeslots and joined the on-site crew during installation.

Together, we completed the project with lighting that complements the experience and ambience of every space.

Lighting for the monumental Muntgebouw in Utrecht

ONN lighting delivered the lighting for Munthuys in the monumental Muntgebouw in Utrecht. The location consists of 10 meeting rooms, 5 conference and event areas, 3 private dining rooms and a restaurant with a capacity of 120 guests.

During the installation, our project managers Tim, René and Riley were in close contact and provided technical support.

Munthuys has now opened and is ready to welcome guests.

Office for medTzorg in Utrecht

ONN lighting has taken on a new project for medTzorg, delivering the lighting plan and installation for their new office in Utrecht. medTzorg provides healthcare to vulnerable groups across the Netherlands, with over 1,275 locations nationwide.

The project is realised in collaboration with Tétris Design and Build, who are responsible for the interior design and execution. Our team will be on site to support the installers with technical guidance and take care of the full Casambi configuration.

BREEAM-certified lighting plan for the new headquarters of Business in Wind

ONN lighting is providing the lighting design, delivery and project management for the new BREEAM-certified headquarters of Business in Wind, a company that refurbishes and relocates used wind turbines for renewed operation.

BREEAM is an internationally recognized method for assessing the sustainability of buildings. The lighting plan includes detailed calculations for all functional areas: offices, workshop, storage, and outdoor spaces. Ensuring energy efficiency, compliance with BREEAM standards, and optimal visual comfort throughout the site.

Together with René, one of our other project managers, he ensures that every project is completed successfully. With their combined expertise and commitment, our clients can rely on a smooth process from first idea to final installation.

Lighting project at Schiphol

We recently contributed to the New Dutch Horizons exhibition in Lounge 1 at Schiphol Airport. This 200-meter-long installation features work from 19 Dutch artists and offers travelers a moment of inspiration in transit.

For this project, we developed a custom LED line that subtly enhances the architecture and visually unifies the exhibition. A great example of how tailored lighting can elevate both space and experience.
