Olyx

Olyx operates in the biofuels and trading sector, connecting buyers and sellers across the globe. For their Amsterdam office, we created a custom lighting plan fully aligned with the interior concept by Casper Schwarz Architects. The standout feature of the space is the hexagon-shaped desks, each with its own tailored lighting solution.

The process

To ensure the desks met workplace lighting standards for brightness and uniformity, we designed and supplied custom hexagon fixtures. Positioned precisely above the heart of each workstation, these fixtures deliver even light distribution and visual comfort thanks to their prism diffusers. Each fixture is also individually dimmable through Casambi, allowing every team to adjust the lighting to their needs.

In addition to the custom fixtures, a track system with spotlights provides both base and accent lighting, giving the space depth and flexibility. We also handled project coordination and integrated Casambi throughout, making the system easy to control and adapt. With thoughtful design, technical precision and a large office garden as its backdrop, the Olyx workspace is as distinctive as the company itself.
